'Peer2peer file sharing has become the will of the people.  Don't fight it - monetize it.'

DataRevenue.Org -'A new revenue stream is unfolding - MMS'
...............from a NEW source - Mobile Networks

Introduction

A new revenue stream for the multimedia community is unfolding.  Our initiatives will affect the newspaper industry, the music industry, the film industry, the broadcast industry, the photography industry and other industries affected by digitization.

DataRevenue.Org is a non-profit trade association that has been soliciting, the House and Senate Judiciary Committees, The FCC, WTB, NTIA, Department of Commerce, Library of Congress and the Executive Branch regarding the undermining of the United States copyright system.  This undermining is a result of the Internet and related technologies providing unfettered access to copyrighted materials along with other information that ultimately promotes the growth of human knowledge.

However, in the study of master systems, systems and sub-systems, it becomes obvious that the laws of cause and effect hold true as our copyright systems have been compromised as a result of these activities.

Basically, we believe there should be a statutory rate(s) set for the transfer, distribution and publication of copyrighted (MMS) multimedia via mobile networks.  Current copyright laws do not address this issue specifically because multimedia messaging (MMS) is a fairly new technology.

These rates may also be established without legislation with the co-operation of the wireless industry for the good of the whole.

It is not our youth's fault the Internet was unleashed with little regard to the undermining of an existing system (the world's copyright systems).  P2P file sharing is primarily a preferred way to obtain stuff in our youth's minds and they don't perceive those actions as being piracy.  Big record labels didn't help the situation by trying to ram things down our youth's throats with non-productive reactionary measures.  Thing is.....they (record labels) are also victims.

The telcos are the backbone of the Internet and they along with some inefficiencies within our government set these things in motion and that's how they can be corrected going forward.  Mobile networks provide that opportunity right now because they are "metered" for the most part.

Register here if you believe your multimedia creations were shared on mobile networks as MMS!

This means that the telcos can no longer hide behind the "dumb pipeline" defense and now they can actually do the right thing in ceasing the undermining of the U.S. Copyright system and making sure rights holders are fairly compensated.

We want to insure peer2peer abuse does not destroy the future of MMS data revenue growth for the multimedia community on mobile networks the way it did via the "first edition" tethered Internet.  In fact, under our initiatives quite the opposite will occur via mobile peer2peer multimedia data exchanges.

By becoming a Charter Member at the leadership level or a Charter Associate Member, you will be helping to establish a valuable new revenue stream for the multimedia community.  Think about the growth potential the multimedia community would have experienced had a statutory rate been established early on for multimedia transactions done via the Internet.  That was a massive missed opportunity.  Now we are at a similar benchmark moment with mms data transactions on mobile networks.

With your help and understanding, we are determined to turn this into a massive opportunity for the multimedia community.  We invite you to join us today!
