| Verizon would like to own the rights to distribute ANY piece of content. There actually is a fair way to do this but will they figure it out in time? | Apple introduces iOS 5 with free SMS/MMS but they don't mention free music sharing via these new features. Hmmmm, are they trying to sneak one by the music industry? | Grandpa is still a
little frisky, I mean uh could you pull your boob out for the
camera? ...hahaha |
| short takes #3 | Jay z and Kanye's
latest.....you be the judge! We think it's ok but, Otis Redding is the bomb! |
Katy Perry and
Missy Elliot got a hot one as pop music goes. We aren't sure why
but we kinda like this..lol...could it be the menage trois thing? |

| The Data Revenue
initiative began in 2008. This 2009 YouTube upload was an intro to "The
Data Revenue Dialogue", a series of short takes explaining GDRI's
perspectives. |
Max Davis, founder of
GDRI explains why it is necessary to sue the wireless carriers on behalf of
creators, artists and rights holders. |
GDRI is suing the wireless carriers on behalf of creators, artists and rights holders. Become a member or at least register your stuff to be a part of the action. Got a trillion downloads or less? |
| The integrity of the U.S. copyright system was undermined by the Internet and new technology. Sometimes disruption as we know it, may well be progress as we don't know it. The MMS situation creates a unique opportunity to be a part of that progress instead of a victim. | Even robots want their
fair share of revenue generated from the distribution of their content. I'll bet
aliens, apes, vampires and ghosts would feel the same! Fair compensation
and accountability for sharing............ |
Sharing is a
natural and fundamental trait of the Internet. What happened
was........we just screwed up the opportunity - big time!
|
| The law states
that copyright protection subsists in all tangible manifestations of
creativity now known or later developed. The law also grants that
creator the 'exclusive' right to authorize and/or distribute that
manifestation. |
The wireless carriers created a system that enables copyrighted multimedia to be easily and freely shared without compensation to the rights holders. Apple and Google are creating new systems that enable free text messaging and free multimedia messaging. The wireless carriers' "cash cow" will not be mooing much longer unless...... | Properly monetizing
intellectual property and creativity is critical to our economy. There
are those that may not understand this. Let's hope they wake up soon and help us get through this period of adjustment......
|
| Needless to say,
beating the crap out of disrupters with a baseball bat is not the
answer. So if you can't beat 'em - join 'em! Don't get left behind, be a part of the progress. |
Max Davis founder of
GDRI describes confusion within the wireless carriers' DMCA policies.
Will the real policy please stand up.......(pt-1) |
Max Davis exposes how
the carriers pretend to be dumb pipelines while deploying and employing
a smart system that exclusively transports copyrighted materials. (pt-2) |
| The GDRI movement
represents a second chance to monetize file sharing. We're way
beyond just talking the talk. How about you? Are you ready to walk the walk and help get this done? |
GDRI believes that MMS is not in compliance with the legislative intent behind the DMCA safe harbor intentions. Was the MMS system purposely built as an attempt to take advantage of safe harbor? See no evil, hear no evil make money? | What if peer to peer
file sharing could be fairly monetized?
